MET’s Smart Hackathon 2026 – SIH 2026 Internal Hackathon

On 31st August 2026, MET’s Smart Hackathon 2026 – SIH 2026 Internal Hackathon is being organized by the Department of Information Technology, MET’s Institute of Engineering, Nashik.

The hackathon is designed as a platform to nurture innovation, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among students. It provides an opportunity for students from diverse disciplines to come together and develop innovative solutions to real-world problem statements.

The Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026 is a nationwide initiative aimed at fostering innovation and creativity among students by providing a platform to address real-world challenges. The initiative encourages students to work collaboratively in teams and develop technology-driven solutions for challenges identified by various government departments, industries, and other organizations.

MET’s Smart Hackathon 2026 provides students with an opportunity to understand real-world problem statements, present their ideas, interact with experts, and gain valuable experience in innovation, technology, teamwork, and solution development. The Internal Hackathon also helps identify and encourage promising student teams for participation in the next stages of Smart India Hackathon 2026.
