IIT BOMBAY SPOKEN TUTORIAL


 

“MET’s Institute of Engineering, Bhujbal Knowledge City, Adgaon, Nashik” is Associated with IIT spoken Tutorial Bombay since 2012.

The Spoken Tutorial Project is about teaching and learning a particular FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP & MySQL, Java, C/C++, LibreOffice etc. via an easy Video tool - Spoken Tutorials.

Benefits to students and teachers:

  1. This distance education method is highly conducive to learn in the campus of MET Bhujbal Knowledge City, Adgaon Nashik.
  2. To come into the program a college has to pay Rs.25000/ as a user fee to train students on any number of courses with Certification.
  3. Enrolling and learning from the course involves no cost.
  4. UG, PG or Research scholar students and even teachers of Science, IT, Engineering, MCA disciplines can learn any of the FOSS.
  5. Any student or faculty of the campus can start and master the FOSS in respective subject. As well upon successful completion of the course and examination can get the certificates.
  6. Support from IIT Bombay is available over Skype, in such cases the main organizer computer should have a webcam via which the Spoken Tutorial team can monitor the Training and answer questions.
  7. Inculcate mode of self-learning

Teachers and students of our institute are using this facility by registering to various online courses.
