About Department

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at MET’s Institute of Engineering, Bhujbal Knowledge City, Nashik. The Institute started the undergraduate programme in Electronics and Computer Engineering
in the Academic Year 2025–26, with an intake of 60 students, to meet the growing demand for engineers with multidisciplinary expertise in electronics and computing technologies.
Electronics and Computer Engineering integrates electronics, computing, communication, and intelligent technologies, providing a strong foundation in emerging areas such as Embedded Systems, IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, VLSI, Robotics and
Automation, Data Analytics, and Communication Systems.
Department is committed to provide quality education through effective teaching-learning, experiential learning, modern laboratories, hands-on technical exposure, project-based learning, research, and innovation. We emphasize strong competencies in both hardware and
software, enabling students to transform innovative ideas into practical with engineering solutions.
Beyond academics, we promote industry–institute interaction, internships, industrial visits, expert sessions, workshops, professional certifications, technical competitions, and industry-oriented projects to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice.
Our dedicated faculty members strive for the holistic development of students by nurturing creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, professional ethics, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.
As electronics and computing technologies continue to converge, we aspire to develop our department into a vibrant centre of academic excellence, innovation, research, and
professional development, preparing competent engineers to contribute meaningfully to industry and society.

I warmly welcome students to explore, innovate, excel, and engineer solutions for meeting sustainable goals.
