About Department

Master of Computer Application (MCA) under faculty of Engineering course is affiliated to University of Savitribai Phule Pune and approved by AICTE, is established in the year 2007. MCA is a PG Program under engineering faculty with intake capacity of 60. The MCA Course having 4 semesters (2 Year) out of that last semester is for internship. In 4th  semester students have to do the project in industry. Our aim is to provide our students the all-time learning and management skills that make easy them to nurture in their professions and move ahead to positions of responsibility by effective Industry-Institute Interaction. The Department of MCA Engineering has fully equipped with class rooms having LCD Projectors, high speed internet, well equipped labs. All labs have latest powerful Servers, Workstations, Printers, software’s, etc. connected in Wi-Fi. The department has established a good reputation and competency over the years.

Excellent infrastructure, experienced enthusiastic and dedicated faculties are strengths of the department. Apart from regular academics, department also organizes various technical and personality development sessions for students. Senior student interaction, parents meet are the programs which are conducted to bond and strengthen parent, student and institute triangle. To help the students at personal level, a full time professional counselor, available in campus.

Good Interaction with the Industries is maintained to allow students to do their projects in industry and to have exposure to the professional environment. This also helps in bridging the gap between the academics and Industry. Currently students and staff are involved in industry sponsored projects.
