Academic Assessment and Quality Improvement Committee (AAQIC)

INTRODUCTION:

The Academic Assessment and Quality Improvement Committee (AAQIC), as the name suggests, is dedicated to sustaining and enhancing academic quality. Recognizing that quality improvement is an ongoing process, the committee regularly reviews academic activities and offers valuable insights to support the department’s overall performance and promote holistic academic excellence. Additionally, the AAQIC plays a crucial role in preparing reports for accreditation processes and ensuring continuous improvement in educational standards. AAQIC meetings are held once every semester.

OBJECTIVES:

• To provide and maintain high-quality teaching and learning through a continuously improving Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system that meets industry and professional standards in AI & Data Science.
• To assess academic processes using set benchmarks and implement necessary improvements in both curricular and co-curricular activities to enhance overall education quality.
• To incorporate industry-driven case studies, projects, and emerging AI technologies into academic programs.
